The Tecnam P92 has earned its place in the Chesapeake Sport Pilot fleet as one of the gentlest and safest trainers on the market. It may look like a Cessna but don't let looks fool you. This plane climbs well and has a good useful load, good shoulder room, incredible crosswind capability, and a practically non-existent stall break.
The P92's predictable handling and easy- to-slide-into seats make it the plane of choice for many of our older customers and has earned it the nickname "Grandma's Airplane" by our staff. It will comfortably accommodate customers up to 225lbs and of most heights, although our shorter customers may require a pillow to improve visibility.
