SPORT PILOT TRAINING IN THE MOSAIC ERA
The FAA's Modernization of Special Airworthiness Certification (MOSAIC) rule has expanded the options for Sport Pilots. The new rules allow Sport Pilots to operate a broader range of aircraft than under the previous Sport Pilot framework, with additional privileges available through appropriate training and instructor endorsements.
If you're considering Sport Pilot training, it's important to understand not only the requirements for earning your certificate, but also how the rules have changed and what they may mean for your flying goals.
